Welcome

I am a dedicated and passionate Counsellor and Social Worker with extensive experience supporting individuals and families across statutory and non-statutory settings, including the NDIS.

My approach to therapy is client-centred, trauma-informed, inclusive, and neuro affirming. I am committed to creating a safe, respectful space where you feel heard, understood, and supported — just as you are.

I bring comprehensive knowledge and experience in areas including disability, mental health, emotional wellbeing, grief and loss, family violence, vicarious and complex trauma, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and LGBTQIA+ affirming support.

I primarily utilise Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, alongside a range of tailored and creative interventions. My work is always underpinned by inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive practice, ensuring that support is not only effective, but also compassionate and responsive to your unique needs.

I am a registered member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), with previous membership with the Australian Counselling Association.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Social Science (Counselling)

  • Master of Social Work (Qualifying)

I have over 14 years of full-time experience working as a Social Worker, Counsellor, and Mental Health Clinician. My practice spans a diverse range of settings, including not-for-profit organisations, government specialist intervention services for children, adolescents, and families, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), domestic and family violence services, youth services, and broader mental health support.

In September 2022, Banjo — a gentle Cavalier King Charles Spaniel — joined my practice as an emotional support companion, offering comfort and connection to clients within the therapeutic space.
